Fagerkulla Folk 2026

Fagerkulla Folk – a warm-hearted folk music event for the whole family in Western Uusimaa

In summer 2026, Fagerkulla Folk expands into a two-day festival. Music will fill Ikkala with the “Fagerkulla Folk kylässä Ikkalassa” event on Saturday, July 4, and continue in Karkkila on Sunday, July 5. Festival concerts will take place in the beautiful courtyard of Juhlatalo Kokki as well as in the atmospheric Pakari at the Karkkila-Högfors Workers’ Museum.

Music in a historic setting

At Fagerkulla Folk, music meets the industrial history of Karkkila. The museum’s worker homes, courtyards, and ironworks heritage create a unique backdrop for the musical experience. The Kokki estate in Ikkala has served as an inn since the 17th and 18th centuries, so this summer festival visitors can enjoy a historic setting in two locations!

A diverse program for all ages

The festival’s varied program includes live folk music, dance, children’s activities, communal jam sessions, and delicious food. There is plenty to see and do for the whole family. The event brings together folk music enthusiasts and respected professionals, with a special focus on local and regional ensembles.
